On the boundaries of the real
This is a reflection on the interaction between humans and nature, on how our minds strive to capture moments within the strict confines of perception. The metal structure against the backdrop of a foggy landscape symbolizes for me not only the structuring of the visual world but also humanity’s internal drive toward understanding and controlling its reality.
Contemplating its stillness, I pose questions about existing boundaries: what truly belongs to us, and what lies beyond the scope of our control? Nature, with its untamable beauty and unpredictability, surrounds this artificial element, creating a contrast between the aspiration for order and the spontaneity of life.
The fog filling the space becomes a visualization of the elusive nature of truth and cognition. It serves as a reminder that the world cannot be fully grasped or subjugated—it always remains mysterious and multi-layered, blurring away both our hopes and our fears, and prompting the realization that true meaning may lie not in the answers, but in the process of searching itself.
